Greg Kaufmann

After graduating from Christ Seminary - Seminex in 1977, Pastor Greg served Lutheran congregations in Granby, Colorado and Chippewa Falls, WI before joining the synod staff in 2000. Pastor Greg Kaufmann serves as Assistant to the Bishop of the Northwest Synod of Wisconsin of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and is the Director of the ELCA's Fisher's Net Select. In 1993 he helped begin that synod's Lay School of Ministry, and currently serves as its director and teaches its Bible courses. He is the Book of Faith Synod Advocate for his synod, as well as the director of its Resource Center. Pastor Greg has written a number of adult Bible studies for Augsburg Fortress, and serves as one of the Augsburg Fortress curriculum editors.  When not teaching, writing or editing, you can find Greg visiting his grandson in Denver, on top of 14,000 foot mountains in Colorado, or canoeing and fishing in the Boundary Waters canoeing area. Greg is married to Diane Kaufmann, who is the Companion Synod Coordinator for the Northwest Synod of Wisconsin, ELCA. They have two married children, Martin and Kalista.

Jodi Hanson

After graduating from St. Olaf College (BA, 1978) and Mundelien College (MA in religion. 1983) Jodi began her work in the church as a lay campus minister. From 1986 to 2000 she served in 3 locations in Wisconsin: Platteville, Madison, and Whitewater. In 1995 she was commissioned as an Associate in Ministry in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). In 1992 she became certified as a spiritual director and from 2000-2004 she served on the staff of the spiritual directors training program at the Siena Center, Racine, WI. From 2001-2010 she served as the Director of Faith Builders, an adult education and leadership program of the South Dakota Synod, ELCA. Jodi is the Director of Courses for Select Learning. She piloted Select Learning's online courses in the South Dakota synod in 2003. Jodi is married to Andy Vos and has 2 adult children, Siri and Anya. She enjoys reading, hiking, gardening, creative projects, and home remodeling.
